The group was born in August 2006. A friend by the name Mrs Mary Barr surprised me with some knitting wool and knitting needles. I decided to share the surprise with a few women in the area and try to develop our talents together.
Members are optimistic about the growth and expansion of the knitting group. With time, members are going to perfect their talents and make quite good products.
However among the teething problems is marketing of our products due to the flooding of cheap second hand clothes in the Kenyan markets. Many people opt to buy many of those cheap ones than ours.
Members express their heartfelt gratitude to Poppy and the entire Burning Bush INC group.
