Donations Fund Another Truckload of Provisions for Villagers at Solio Ranch
Posted on Nov 23, 2009
We are happy to report that, thanks to the generosity of Burning Bush supporters and friends, funds to purchase another truckload of food for the villagers at Solio Ranch were sent to Pastors Joseph and Sarah Waweru the first week in November. After the first truckload of provisions was distributed in September, the Wawerus agreed to purchase and distribute more food and supplies, if sufficient money could be raised.
Thankfully, rains came in late October and the villagers were able to plant gardens, but those crops will not be ready for harvest until January. The need for food remains critical, therefore, and BBI is continuing to accept donations for the purchase of basic provisions to tide the villagers over until they are once again able to feed themselves.
If you have not yet contributed to this relief effort, you may make a donation through the link to our Paypal account on this website. We ask for your prayers that God will continue to meet the needs of the villagers at Solio Ranch.
