Eileen Richardson to Speak in Estonia and Scotland
Posted on May 16, 2009
Eileen Richardson, RN, a retired senior lecturer from Bournemouth, England and friend of Burning Bush Inc., will present the results of a BBI-sponsored survey at upcoming international conferences in Estonia and Scotland. The survey assessed the current status of healthcare delivery in the Nyeri District of Central Kenya, including quality of facilities, educational level of healthcare providers, and services offered.
Eileen’s presentation will focus on the role of private nurse practitioners in delivering health care to the rural population in Kenya.
Eileen’s first presentation will be delivered to attendees at the Tallinn Health College’s International Week conference. The conference, scheduled for May 18-22, is expected to draw health professionals from the Baltic states, Russia, Czech Republic and Finland. In mid-June she will travel to Glasgow, where she will meet with nursing educators and clinicians at the International Conference of the Royal College of Nursing’s Joint Education Forum.
A summary of the survey findings will be available soon in our News section.
