Jocelyn Macharia has begun work on her master’s degree in Community Pastoral Care & HIV/AIDS at St. Paul’s University in Limuru, Kenya. She writes, “Greetings in our Lord Jesus. I am at St. Paul’s University and I have already started the programme. I am very grateful to God and I have been praying for you and your family that you be blessed and have more years added to you and all those who are assisting me. I pray that I will do the same to others. PNP Mt. Kenya Region are doing well and we met on Thursday 21 May last week. The orientation ends on Friday and there are many assignments to be done at home. I am working hard. God bless you.”
St. Paul’s is affiliated with the University of Wales Lampeter, which will grant the MA degree upon completion of the three-year program. Jocelyn will continue to operate her clinic while enrolled in the program, traveling to the Limuru campus for a total of 46 days and receiving instruction remotely the rest of the time.
