The Village Microlending Group meets to discuss the life changing results of microlending in their community, the importance of having a chicken, goat or a little money to farm. The women told us that before they received the microlending loans, everything they had belonged to their husbands. Now they have something of their own that they can use to help their families have a better life. The members also “bought” water storage tanks to collect rainwater, critical as they have no adequate water supply. Click on the image at the right under photos.
