WAKA Continuing Education Center Begins to Take Shape

As reported in August, construction has begun on the WAKA Continuing Education Center in Nyeri, Kenya, and the facility is beginning to take shape. Poppy Buchanan and Mary Gresham Barr are planning to travel to Kenya in early December to check on the construction progress and meet with Rosemary and Eustace Kamunya, who will operate the center after its completion. If construction continues to go as planned, the facility is expected to be completed in early March. Look for pictures in mid-December after Poppy and Mary Gresham return!
